Set up HubSpot MCP in Claude Code

CRM data access, contact management, deal tracking, and company information from HubSpot. Official integration in public beta.

Locate the config file

Claude Code reads MCP server configuration from the following file:

~/.claude.json

Create this file if it does not already exist.

Add the configuration

You can configure HubSpot MCP using the CLI command or by editing the config file directly.

Option A: CLI command

Set up environment variables

HubSpot MCP requires the following environment variables:

HUBSPOT_ACCESS_TOKENRequired

HubSpot private app access token

Verify it works

Restart Claude Code. HubSpot MCP should appear in your MCP server list with 10 tools available.

This server adds approximately 5,150 tokens to your context window for tool definitions.
